Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav · Plantation Drive
As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav events across the State of Meghalaya, a plantation drive was carried forward with 250 fruit trees planted, including Mango, Khasi Mandarin, Guava, Tamarind, Khasi Lemon, Jackfruit, Stink Beans (a medicinal plant), Gulmohar, Pear, Plum, Chestnut and Litchi.
